Yogi Kamal Singh, one of the best Ashtanga yoga teachers in India, is known for his motivating yoga classes at Tattvaa Yogashala - Rishikesh. A yoga class with Yogi Kamal includes powerful adjustments which safely teach students the depths of each asana. Yoga students come from all over the world to take his classes and commonly practice with him for one or more months at a time. The results are oftentimes profound, students have returned home with straighter backs and clearer minds. He is also a senior yoga teacher trainer conducting yoga teacher trainings and workshops internationally during the Indian off-season months. Yogi Kamal Singh is a native of Rishikesh, born and raised in the Yoga Capital of the World. Following the strict instructions from his Guru, he travelled the country for five years, studying with yoga masters all over India. He holds numerous yoga certificates from organisations such as Bihar School of Yoga, Sivananda, Satyananda Academies etc. He also earned a Masters Degree in Yoga Studies from Garhwal University.

Sunil Sharma Ji

Sunil Sharma, trained in Traditional and Scientific Yoga from Kaivalyadham, Lonavala, a yoga institute of international repute. He is a Post Graduate in Psychology and has International Diploma in Guidance & Counselling from National Council Of Educational Research And Training (NCERT - New Delhi) and has been teaching yoga at various levels in India & abroad since 2001. Sunil has worked as a yoga instructor in various Senior Secondary Schools under the scheme “Promotion of Yoga in Schools” by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India and has worked as Director of Yoga Teachers Training Department in ‘Yoga Summit’, Hangzhou, China. He has delivered lectures on Yoga & Philosophy, conducted Pranayama and Meditation workshops, Yoga Therapy sessions for employees of corporate houses and Yoga Teacher Training courses from 2006 to 2010, during his stay in China. He has also worked as a yoga instructor at Lakshmibai National University of Physical Education, Gwalior, India and has conducted theory and practical classes for the students of Graduation & Diploma courses in Yoga. He has proved himself highly effective against stress and various mild psychological disorders. His way of treatment and training has unique personal touch. Sunil has written various articles on yoga for the health magazine - Niramaya Jivan. He has profound interest in teaching philosophical & psychological aspect of yoga. His areas of specialisation are Asana, Pranayama, Meditation and Yoga Counselling.

Yogi Upendra Ji

Born and raised in a traditional Brahmin family in the holy city of Rishikesh, Yogi Upendra ji was introduced to yoga and ancient scriptures in his early childhood by his father, a Sanskrit scholar. He decided to pursue his studies further, travelling to the Bihar school of Yoga in Munger to complete a certificate course, before studying Vedanta at the Yoga Vedanta forest academy at Shivananda Ashram, Rishikesh. Here, he surrendered himself to perfecting his teaching and yogic discipline under the guidance of his Guru Swami Vishwa Rupananda Saraswati. Yogi Upendra ji teaches Hatha yoga, pranayama, yoga nidra and kriyas, and is loved by his students for his calming presence and his ability to see the challenges each individual is facing within. A class with Upendra ji leaves one feeling calm, centered and with a deep connection between mind, body and spirit. Upendra ji has travelled internationally, conducting workshops in China, Germany Denmark and Kazakhstan.

Yogini Priya

Born and raised in Rishikesh, Priya is a vibrant young lady studying the art of Ashtanga Vinyasa. If you have ever had the privilege of being in her class you will understand this pocket rocket means business. She has been with Tattvaa Yogashala for 5 years, practicing and teaching under the guidance of Yogi Kamal Singh and Yogi Sunil Sharma with dedication throughout. Guided by the Masters themselves, Priya is following closely in their footsteps. Her adjustments are precise and the energy in her led Ashtanga classes is of a serious yet playful nature. She is passionate about working with her students and her happiness at teaching shines through for all to see. She hopes to help her students to find the same joy in their practice as she does.
