Yogi Kamal Singh

(Founder of Tattvaa Yogashala)

Yogi Kamal Singh is one of the best Ashtanga teachers in the world. His motivating classes have helped students from across the globe. His exceptional ability to teach complex topics easily to students is the reason behind the recognition and the reputation he earned across the globe. Students from all over the world join Yogi Kamal Ji to guide them in their journey of learning.


Born and raised in the yoga capital of the world, Rishikesh, he gained knowledge and skills through years of practice. With his intense teaching and exceptional techniques, students get to learn about the asanas and the depth of each asana. Apart from the learning and skills, students have been relieved with better posture and calmness helping them with the modern lifestyle.

Sunil Sharma Ji

Pranayama & Meditation

Sunil Sharma trained in Traditional and Scientific Yoga from Kaivalyadham, Lonavala, a yoga institute of international repute. He is a Post Graduate of Psychology and has an International Diploma in Guidance & Counselling from the National Council Of Educational Research And Training (NCERT - New Delhi) and has been teaching yoga at various levels in India & abroad since 2001.

Sunil has worked as a yoga instructor in different Senior Secondary Schools under the scheme "Promotion of Yoga in Schools" by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, and has worked as Director of the Yoga Teachers Training Department in 'Yoga Summit,' Hangzhou, China. He has delivered lectures on Yoga & Philosophy, conducted Pranayama and Meditation workshops, Yoga Therapy sessions for employees of corporate houses, and Yoga Teacher Training courses from 2006 to 2010 during his stay in China.

Swami Omkarananda

Psychokinesis & Psychic Healing

Swami Omkarananda was raised by Ma Anandamayi, a revered Indian woman saint. The Dalai Lama, Lung Chu, Swami Dayananda Saraswati, Swami Veda Bharati, and the Master of Masters Kalyan Babaji of the Himalayas were the six enlightened Masters with whom he studied and shared a home. Along with having extensive understanding of Vedanta, Sanskrit, holistic living, and yoga, Swamiji also has a wide range of experience in the fields of metaphysics, parapsychology, and mind-matter interactions including psychokinesis and psychic healing.

He travelled to a Tibetan monastery on the advice of the Dalai Lama, where he made the decision to permanently resign from his position as a professional to live and study with the great Tibetan Master Lung Chu. Swamiji began residing among the great awakened Himalayan Masters after totally devoting himself to spirituality.

Yogi Upendra Ji

Hatha yoga, pranayama

Born and raised in a traditional Brahmin family in the holy city of Rishikesh, Yogi Upendra Ji was introduced to yoga and ancient scriptures in his early childhood by his father, a Sanskrit scholar. He decided to pursue his studies further, travelling to the Bihar School of Yoga in Munger to complete a certificate course before studying Vedanta at the Yoga Vedanta forest academy at Sivananda Ashram Rishikesh. Here, he surrendered himself to perfecting his teaching and yogic discipline under the guidance of his Guru Swami Vishwa Rupananda Saraswati.

Yogi Upendra Ji teaches Hatha yoga, pranayama, yoga Nidra, and Kriyas and his students love his calming presence and ability to see each individual's challenges. A class with Upendra Ji leaves one feeling calm, centred, and with a deep connection between mind, body, and spirit. Upendra Ji has travelled internationally, conducting workshops in China, Germany, Denmark, and Kazakhstan.

Yogini Priya Ji

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga

Born and raised in Rishikesh, Priya is a vibrant young lady studying the art of Ashtanga Vinyasa. If you have ever had the privilege of being in her class, you will understand this pocket rocket means business. She has been with Tattvaa Yogashala for 5 years, practising and teaching under the guidance of Yogi Kamal Singh and Yogi Sunil Sharma with dedication throughout. Guided by the Masters themselves, Priya is following in their footsteps. Her adjustments are precise, and the energy in her led Ashtanga classes is serious yet playful.

She is passionate about working with her students, and her happiness at teaching shines through for all to see. She hopes to help her students to find the same joy in their practice as she does. She understands how to draw maximum effort from her students, so if you plan on taking her class, you best come prepared!

Anna Chhugani

Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga

Anna Chhugani is a certified Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga instructor passionate about helping others to find balance and peace through Yoga. With over nine years of experience on the mat, Anna has a deep understanding of proper alignment and technique, as well as the ability to adjust to the needs of each student. She has a background in Ashtanga, Hatha, Mysore, and Prenatal Yoga styles from BKS Iyengar School of Yoga and Yogadarshanam Mysore.

Anna has an unwavering belief in combining the physical aspects of Yoga. Her classes are filled with dynamic and creative flows that make the students feel refreshed. You can expect a safe, supportive environment in her classes, where you can explore your potential and find new levels of strength.

Naveen Bisht

Ashtanga Yoga Teacher

Naveen Bisht is an accomplished yoga teacher who has been teaching at Tattvaa Yogashala in Rishikesh for the past 5 years. With his extensive knowledge of yoga and years of experience, he has helped countless students deepen their understanding and practice of this ancient art. Naveen's journey in yoga began many years ago when he discovered the transformative power of this practice.

He went on to study under some of the most respected teachers in India and has since become a highly skilled and knowledgeable practitioner. In his classes, Naveen brings a blend of traditional and modern approaches to yoga, focusing on alignment, breath, and mindfulness. He places a strong emphasis on proper technique and individualized instruction, ensuring that each student receives the guidance they need to reach their full potential.

Nacho Kaleta

Assistant Teacher ( Ashtanga Mysore Style)

Meet Nacho Kaleta - a dedicated and passionate yoga teacher and practitioner with almost four years of teaching experience and nine years of practice. Nacho has taught yoga in a variety of environments, with the intention of spreading the knowledge and system of yoga as he has learned and experienced during his studies and practice around the world. Nacho specializes in teaching the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga system, emphasizing alignment and adjustments of posture to ensure the perfection of posture practice as well as to take students safely beyond their expected limits.

Nacho also places focus on the psychological aspect of yoga, helping students to develop their own nature, discover their potential, and transform their lives through the practice. Nacho teaches with both power and grace, reflecting the inherent nature of the Ashtanga yoga practice.
