The 300 hour yoga teacher training program consists of at least 9 hours of daily classes, and 100% attendance is mandatory. A basic understanding of the English language is also required as the course is conducted in English, and participants must speak English.
Enrollment in the program is based on eligibility and is given on a first-come, first-served basis.

At Tattvaa Yogashala in Rishikesh, India, the prerequisites for a 300-hour yoga teacher training program include the following:

For RYT-200 holders deciding where to do their advanced training, Bali offers a 300-hour environment that Rishikesh cannot replicate: a tropical, year-round practice climate combined with a living Hindu ritual culture and direct access to Balinese Tantric philosophy traditions. The Ubud cohort tends to be smaller and more international than the India intakes, which means individualised intermediate-series Mysore adjustments and one-on-one philosophy tutorials are realistic across the full 22 days.
Balinese Hinduism is a distinct branch of the tradition - daily canang sari offerings, full-moon Purnama ceremonies, and Tantric undertones in the local village temples. We integrate this living context into the 300-hour philosophy modules, so when you study Tantric concepts of energy, mantra and ritual, you are not reading them out of a textbook - you are watching them practised on the street outside the shala. This is a perspective shift you carry back into your own teaching.
The tropical 25-30 degree climate matters more at the 300-hour level than the 200-hour, because intermediate series asanas demand deeper hip and shoulder opening. Combined with rest-day trips to Tirta Empul's holy spring for purification ceremonies, the Tegallalang rice terraces, and a Mount Batur sunrise hike, the off-mat hours feed the practice rather than compete with it.
Tropical, 25-30 degrees C year-round; dry season April-October.
Ubud's rice-paddy heartland, central Bali; open-air shala overlooking terraces.
Balinese Hindu - daily offerings, temple ceremonies, Tantric philosophy lineage.
Tegallalang rice terraces, Tirta Empul holy spring, Mount Batur sunrise hike.
Airport, ground transport, visa logistics and local mobility for your YTT in Bali, Indonesia.
Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Denpasar is Bali's only international gateway, ~45 km from our Ubud-area campus. The drive takes 1.5–2 hours by taxi depending on traffic, costing IDR 350,000 (~USD 22). Direct flights connect Bali to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Sydney, Doha, and most major Asian hubs.
From Europe or the Americas, transit via Singapore (SIN), Doha (DOH), Hong Kong (HKG), or Tokyo (HND). Visa on arrival is available for most nationalities at IDR 500,000 (~USD 35).
Bali has no train network. From DPS airport you can choose between official airport taxis (fixed-rate, IDR 300,000–400,000), pre-booked private cars via Grab/Gojek (cheaper at IDR 200,000–280,000), or our scheduled school transfer.
Within Bali, Gojek and Grab ride-hail apps dominate (IDR 15,000–60,000 for most rides). Scooter rental is widely available (IDR 70,000–120,000/day) — bring or apply for an International Driving Permit; helmet is mandatory.
Pre-arranged pickup from Ngurah Rai (DPS) costs IDR 350,000 (~USD 22), payable in IDR or USD on arrival. Confirm pickup at least 48 hours before arrival by emailing your flight details to [email protected]; drivers wait at Arrivals with a school placard bearing your name.
Bali's dry season runs April through October (28–32°C, low humidity, minimal rain) — the most comfortable window for outdoor practice. November to March is rainy season: warm but very wet afternoons. Bali sits in the WITA timezone (UTC+8); jet lag recovery typically takes 2–3 days for travellers from Europe or the Americas.

Came to Tattvaa Bali for the 300-hour to upgrade my Seoul-issued RYT-200. The acceptance process was fast, the smaller group meant the advanced Mysore adjustments were properly individual, and the rest-day trip to Tirta Empul holy spring was a real highlight.
Doing my 300-hour in Ubud meant practising in a rice paddy at dawn and walking past temple offerings every morning. Tattvaa's Bali cohort was small (14 of us) and the teachers integrated Balinese Tantric philosophy into the advanced modules. Different to Rishikesh - more tropical, more international - but the lineage rigour was the same.
I came back to Tattvaa for the 300-hour after finishing my RYT-200 elsewhere - Munich winter ruled out Rishikesh again, but Bali's tropical climate let me go deeper into intermediate series without my body shutting down. The open-air Ubud shala made even the long advanced Mysore mornings feel restorative.
At Tattvaa Yogashala, all the yoga teachers are highly experienced and extremely proficient in their field of study.
