FAQs On 300 Hour YTTC Rishikesh

Yoga is for everyone, regardless of age, body, gender, and background. The essential factor in an applicant is openness and willingness to learn. At Tattvaa Yogashala, we welcome everyone to come and learn. However, our teacher training programs are rigorous, and we consider a few points when looking at our applicants to ensure you have a rewarding experience. Points we look at are:

  • How long have you been practising?
  • Your level of interest and dedication
  • Your style of practice
  • Your exposure to yoga
  • Your motivations for teaching
  • And your overall health condition

For our 300 hour Primary Series courses, we welcome all levels of students, though we strongly recommend the previous experience with yoga. When reviewing your application, we look primarily at your level of interest and yoga background. We ask that you come prepared to get the most out of the course. Yoga is a demanding style that requires hard work and commitment. When considering our applicants, we welcome all levels and types of yoga practitioners. However, we highly recommend that you arrive with an established practice and some knowledge of the yoga system to optimise your experience with us.

For our 300 hour intermediate series courses, we require that you already have an established Primary Series practice and at least 200 hours of previous official Primary Series training either at Tattvaa Yogashala or another Yoga Alliance-recognized school. The yoga Intermediate Series is a highly demanding and dynamic practice requiring high levels of endurance and determination. Therefore we ask that the applicant have a strong foundation in Primary Series and optimal health before doing Intermediate Series training to ensure that you get the most out of your training and to prevent injury or overexertion. The more established your practice is before arriving, the deeper the benefits you will reap, the more complete your understanding of adjustments will be, the more enjoyable pranayama will be, and the more rewarding your whole experience. Again, our most important criteria are your openness and dedication to learning and yoga experience!

Yes, it's possible, depending on room availability. Please do contact us beforehand to get more information about availability and prices.
