Tattvaa Yogashala Volunteer programme
If you completed your Teacher Training Course with us and like the idea of staying and helping at Tattvaa Yogashala over a longer term period you may wish to consider applying for our volunteer programme.
Work required here is constantly changing, so whatever your skill set please let us know how you could get involved and we will be happy to discuss the possibility of you staying here.

Before you apply
Requirements
Please read these before you apply — applying means you accept them.
- 1 The minimum commitment is for 3 months, with the first month on a trial basis.
- 2 The responsibilities and tasks are given to the volunteer exclusively by Yogi Kamal Singh both during trial period and after he/she continues the work.
- 3 During the trial period you are required to pay for your food and accommodation and if the placement is not a good match you may be required to end your placement at anytime.
- 4 After the trial period, Tattvaa Yogashala may decide, if you will be provided with food and accommodation. Please note that Tattvaa Yogashala will decide upon your room and you may be required to move to a different room at short notice during your stay.
- 5 The volunteer is obliged to work 8 hours in a day (1 rest day in a week, which depends on the actual TTC schedule)
- 6 Volunteer in his/her freetime can attend 1 class a day only, what he/she can chooses from the schedule
- 7 You may also be required to share with a roommate. If the facilities provided are not suitable for you, you are welcome to find somewhere outside and you will be responsible for payment of the room bill.
- 8 Volunteer is not allowed to flirt with any course students and any member of the school staff. In case the mentioned situation is given, it’s a reason for dismissal.
- 9 In case you need to leave Rishikesh during your staying (i.e VISA run, urgent family visit at your home country etc.) even for a day, you will be required to empty your room and handle the keys back to Tattvaa Yogashala. You may receive an other room upon return.
- 10 Tattvaa Yogashala reserves the right to end the exchange at any time without giving an explanation.

- 14 Being a part of Tattvaa Yogashala is a full time commitment so please be aware that outside of this role there is no time for other courses, activities, socialising etc.
In case the volunteer does not follow the rules, it’s a reason for dismissal. If they stay after dismissal, for the room and food, they will be charged the same way as other students
